    Vista x64 support

When will a 64 bit version be released? I can't get this program to run in my main support enviroment I keep getting VNCSCAN has stopped working errors when either trying to create a group or modify one.

I think this software will fit my needs perfectly but I need it to run in a 64 bit enviroment.

    Please advise.

I made a similar post ealier (sorry Steve) but didn't state my environment is 64-bit also.  I do hope support for 64-bit is in the works.  64-Bit Vista is SOoooo much of a cleaner and quicker environment to work in.

    Re: Vista x64 support

This is an older thread but I too need Vista x64 support.

    What's the status if any?

Running VNCScan in a virtual PC is a time consumer.

Just out of curiosity, what errors do you guys run into when attempting to run the 32 bit version of the console in x64?

    Thank you,

    Running Vista x64 Business

The console will open up just fine but the app crashes when you try to add a new device or managed group. It also crashes when trying to view the properties of a device or managed group that was added via the backup.

    From the event viewer.

    Re: Vista x64 support

I think this is probably a question that I should pose at the ultravnc forums, instead of here. I'm just trying to install ultravnc on an XP x64 System then to possibly create a deployment in VNCScan. Unless someone here has some helpful knowledge of how to get uvnc working on an XP x64 system. I installed it and it seems to install and run but I get a blank VNC window and cannot view the desktop, however commands are working.

    Re: Vista x64 support

It crashes on my PC when I click on preferences.

We have the jobs, groups, etc on a network share, so I can't even get to the point of doing anything else since I can't change where the support files point to.

    Re: Vista x64 support

Yep, choosing computer or group properties still causes  vncscan to crash.

    Any ideas?

    Re: Vista x64 support

We are in the process of replacing our PC's (IT only)  with Vista x64 and this is the only thing holding us back.
